Delighted to have received my contributor’s copies and check yesterday from the Fly. I slunk down onto the floor in the corridor, in a rush of joy and happiness after coming home late last night and seeing it there.

I don’t recall the last time I was paid so much for my writing, bless them. The cover has a calm and earthy tone to it, and what I have always appreciated about this magazine is that they don’t name-drop on the cover to lure you in. There isn’t even an editor’s note, just straight up writing.
